Someone on the trade board used the MoJo trade as the mid-water mark for Toffoli, which makes sense (Donato + a 5th). If it were right now, I'd want a conditional 1st based on performance, or similar to the MoJo trade, a prospect and a pick. Deadline to a playoff team, a 1st and whatever will do.

I think la would be better off holding him till closer to deadline If hes playing decent (a big if) he could start a bidding war I see several teams interest boston flames vancouver st louis and more I also think it will be a sellers market as teams will be in it till the final week of season.
1st would be ideal. VAN suggested 2nd this draft and Virtanen, which I'd personally love

I'd do that in a heartbeat. Can't imagine they're wanting to get rid of Virtanen at this stage,that guy had to be an outlier, right?

At this point I'd be happy just to get a 2nd. A 2nd and a 3rd would be great.
IMO, he only gets a 1st ( or conditional 1st ), if he really gets going and is on track for 25+ goals.

I agree. He needs to improve play for a good stretch before the Kings can hope for a first-rounder.

Ugggh, another negative of the 2018 season, could have gotten a couple of really nice young assets (either picks or prospects) for him if the Kings had been out of it and been sellers at the deadline.
This year? I just have a hard time seeing anyone offering up a 1st rounder without the "We atleast make the SCF" condition attached to it. I think it would take him playing better and it being a sellers market at the deadline for someone to offer an unconditional 1st. So hope for a ton of parity in both conferences this year.

Hmm...we'll need a once promising player that was projected top 6, underachieves for the last few seasons and requires good players on his line to get him going.

I think this good value, if an offer was made now I would hold out for at least a conditional first if I was Blake. An unconditional first could be had if a team was in a tight spot, but otherwise I don't see it.

If LA can land a first for just Toffoli I would be shocked even with 50% retention.
