What do the Leafs do? (draft edition)

what do the Leafs do with there 1st round pick? (can pick 2 options)

They will draft someone that half the people will complain about without knowing anything about the player, and will proclaim that Dubas would have done better. Than they go home as they have no more picks
 
I think move down and draft a defenseman with the moved down pick + goalie/center at the 2nd moved down pick.
 
That first, 28th overall, came from the Sandin trade.

I've been trying really hard to understand what Dubas was thinking when he made that trade. But no matter how much dope I smoke, I just can't get to that level. I expect the plan is to use that first to unload Murray's broken crippled useless body.

If they keep it I'd like to see them trade down.

Amass a few more tickets for the draft lottery. Right now they only have three picks. The price for going all in has been costly.

Now they have their work cut out for them.

Sandin was picked at 29th overall. You draft a player at that spot and hope he turns into a Sandin. So basically the Leafs are hoping to catch lightning in a bottle twice with this first round pick.

If they keep it, that is.
