The 13 nites of Halloween are underway already, and we have a Countdown To Christmas thread, thought we should mention this dark and spooky nite.

My favorite TV specials are It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, all the Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors and a few of the Roseanne and Home Improvement ones

As far as movies go, Ernest Scared Stupid is #1, followed by Hocus Pocus. Gonna end it there, because there are sooooo many horror movies that I like, but I do not know if count as Halloween movies outside of the fact that they are horror.

HM: The Halloween Tree & Nitemare Before Christmas. Love both, but the first one I am not sure if it counts as a movie or a TV Special, and the second because some people (who are wrong), still think of it as a Christmas movie

Back in the day I bought dozens of Goosebumps books at my elementary school's book fairs literally just because of the cool covers. Never read one of them though. True story.

I stayed up late reading them every night as a child lol. Surprised I didn't give myself nightmares.

Don't really watch many Halloween specials but I remember watching that a few years ago when Teen Nick was doing marathons. Still held up.

The "Halloween" franchise sucked after the original.

Last year I tried watching Halloween II again for the first time in many years and I maybe got halfway through. Just rubbish....

Halloween III had a different story line that had nothing to do with the Michael Myers character.Maybe you have the two confused.

Nope I know the difference between Halloween III: Season Of The Witch and Halloween II where Laurie is at the hospital being stalked by Michael Myers.

Ernest Scared Stupid
Hocus Pocus

And I always watch Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight, even though it isn't Halloween themed. Love that movie.
