Its a site wide mod issue. I get that there is no free speech on here but one group gets make fun of, mock, goad, flame, troll and incite while the other gets modded into oblivion, and it spilled on to our board, not just the main board, this thread got hardcore modded as well

I reported threeonzero for trolling cause surprise he was, half an hour later he's still posting while my posts are being edited, for nothing other than being an Oilers fan and stating things that are clear as day on video... So I reported more of his posts, then I loose my report privileges

Aaand I check other boards around the league threads and about half of them are full of people wishing injury on McDavid lol.

I'd report these posts, but I am unable to as the moderators on this site are genius enough to take that ability away THEN come in here and say "Just report the posts bruh" and threadban everyone.

It also should alert the league that they may need to close this loophole. If the refs feel an infraction was done intentionally to circumvent the delayed penalty situation in the last minute, they will let play proceed. If time expiries without a goal or change in possession, they can call the penalty and roll back the clock to the time of the infraction.

Totally irrelevant. Holding is not a major crime, and the sequence in which this happened happens a 1000x in the NHL.

Why is this fanbase acting appauled at 2 players getting entangled and jousting? This is an almost every game occurrence

we’ve got nothing to feel triggered about when it comes to the irrelevant franchise you cheer for. Oilers lost a close game but are still a top team in the standings, your teams Stanley Cup win over the Oilers didn’t even get them in a playoff spot lol.

And we know that series loss is going to hurt for a long time, just like it would have hurt us if we lost that series. What happened again? The Oilers won that series, right? Remember game 7 in Van when hometown boy Nugent-Hopkins scored the game winner that eliminated your team from the playoffs? Remember that? Who’s triggered again?

Oh yeah we also have the best player in hockey. Twice. Canucks fans have only watched the best player in hockey play in Edmonton. Also twice.

It was tried in the past, a couple of the more well known posters on here started a forum called top shelf. It was setup similar to here, I was a mod and looked after a prospect sub forum. But it never really took off and stalled out as only the Oilers board was active. Though I think that was almost 20 years ago now, man I’m starting to feel old.

There is oilfans, but it’s a ghost town. I’m not a fan or Reddit or Facebook groups.

When Crosby was breaking into the league he was getting like, hundreds of PPs. The Oilers are not getting all that many PPs, ultimately, both relative to the rest of the league and all-time. They’re not getting the kind of love Crosby got thats for sure.

I have lost a lot of respect for how this site was run tonight. Previously I had been told about how lopsided it could be but this is the first time I read and experienced it. For me, this is where I have to decide is this site actual worth my time. When I first got here about 5 years ago, there was somewhat a balance. Not last night. And where were our home mods? Usually I would expect them to chime in and tell us to calm down. Not a known oiler hater from the Vancouver board.
