Stripes fail to call an obvious hold/maul/rape attempt on McDavid in a critical moment time of game opens the door to a frustration cross check that's going to cost the game's best player money and games. Game isn't better when blatant shit isn't called against this league's star players.

Tank was empty. Cut this game to one but didn't feel like they were coming back Tough to lose this one because of the precarious season on the brink self-induced drama in Vancouver. Have no idea why they dressed 11/7. The boys were tired and we needed that forward. Skinner should have been in. Josh Briwn brings nothing we really need in a game like this.

I normally don't talk about reffing because I normally assume that they are just missing things due to the speed of the game and other things like that.

I honestly am starting to believe they are told to ignore things/call things a certain way. Absolutely NO WAY could they have not seen what was going on right in front of them, all 4 refs, and not do anything unless they are being told to call a certain way.

I'm not sure who is worse, the refs or the "analysts". I can't believe that this is what they do for a living.

Their "analysis" to just give both McDavid and Myers each 5 minute penalties and 2 game suspension is frustrating. The only reason McDavid was pissed off was because Garland was wrapping his legs around him and molesting him. The refs didn't do their job and prevented any kind of comeback. Meanwhile, Bouchard did what to Myers? Looked at him? One is a superstar trying to stand up for all the crap the refs blatantly ignore. The other is a goon who was completely unprovoked.

This would like in school for suspending the bully and the guy getting bullied for "fighting".

I re watched the play and the first ref to put an arm up was after the McDavid cross check, how is that not purposely ignoring a for sure penalty for a good 10 seconds on the best player in the league?

Bieksa as usual with the reasonable comments that anybody would have boiled over there and that McD is such a character guy but everybody has their limit. Totally acknowledges the justified McD frustration with that sequence, and of course not just that but that the NHL allows in their interpretation of rules for McD to be held like that so regularly.

Same game Soucy, the asshole is arguing a call where he held on so hard he spun the Oiler in a circle. Like a dangerous horsecollar. He was actually arguing the call.
