Its obvious that 2RD spot is for Manson.

Lindgren-Malinski will be the third pairing just like they practiced today.

No idea how Kelly is the odd man out. None of Wood, Vesey, or LOC have ever played center. Wouldn’t make any sense.

Yeah, I had wondered if they would move G to the right, but Kylington and Malinski way to high event for Bednar lol.

I still don't like the price but looking at the standings it is obvious we are in a sellers' market so prices will be high. Obviously I would have preferred Jones but the more I think about this trade the more I like it.

Lindgren going from 1st line in New York to 3rd line here is a huge difference. He was playing 21-24 minutes lately for the Rangers. That is insane for a player like him. Playing less minutes and being more sheltered should make a huge difference in his play. At least that's what I am hoping. There is no doubt in my mind he is better than CDH.

He also provide some insurance in case one of our LHD gets hurt. He also brings/provide insurance physically if Manson goes down again during the playoffs.

But the biggest advantage he could bring to this team is improving the 3rd line which in turn should increase the TOI of that pairing which in turn SHOULD bring down Makar/Toews' TOI. His PK ability is also better than CDH so hopefully that will also help bringing Makar/Toews' TOI. If having Lindgren can help reduce those 2 guys' TOI by 2-3 minutes it will be a huge gain.

He needs to be a good fit though so let's give him a few games and see.

Parker Kelly is as 4th line as it gets but he's a warrior through and through, guy will do whatever it takes to win.

If Bednar seriously is thinking of scratching this guy in favour of Jimmy "I only want to play on the East Coast and make bank, bro" Vesey then I truly don't know what's gotten into him.

If you're wanting to get Vesey into the lineup, you can scratch Miles Wood who has already told you he's going to have back issues the rest of his career. Not Kelly who has been a staple of the PK all season.

Manson might be a possibility for this week as well so that's good.

Yeah, they didn't pay that much for a guy they only want to play 9 minutes per game. The goal is probably to rest Makar and Toews as much as possible before the playoffs.
