It made it a lot more fair and competitive. Huge blow to the SEC now that everyone else can pay players too
It's still only the major power 5 schools that can be competitive. Those are the schools best suited to raise enough NIL money. Nothing has really changed in that regard.

Do you see any surprises in the teams that qualified for the semis? I don't.

Looks like Clapp and Toohill are the elevations for tomorrow. OL allows them to platoon out the starters and play all backups, DL means they can run Solomon/Toohill mostly and rotate in Smoot and/or Epenesa for relief, with Miller/Rousseau sitting.

Oh this would be magnificent but I dont see it happening

That said , I think they interviewed Vrabel as well which would be much less awesome lol.

It’s early in the process. The fact Rex is being interviewed, is comical, but it would look bad that a guy that has openly said he would like the job wasn’t interviewed, especially when you have a portion of the fanbase that is loyal that still holds the same mindset as Rex.

I’d expect the 2nd round of interviews that we will hear about to be more of who the Jets are actually looking at.

Cleveland not even being subtle about the tank. Complete the first pass of the game for 21 then go run, run, run, punt on 4th and 4 from Baltimore's 43. I suppose with Cleveland it could just be coaching malpractice....hard to tell

Now Baltimore punts from Cleveland's side of the field on 4th and 3.

Both punts were touchbacks, by the way.

And now they go for it in their own territory (after another series of run, run, run surprisingly failed against the best run defense in the NFL ) and miss the drive after a pick 6. I forgot Dorsey was their o-coordinator. Baltimore's offense won't even have to score the way this is going.

Seeing Flowers go down with a knee injury in a meaningless game makes me nervous about tomorrow. Wish we could just forfeit.

Im not a man of faith, but even I'm praying to the football gods that Denver or Miami wins tomorrow. Burrow is the boogeyman.

If the Broncos can't beat the Chiefs backups and the Dolphins with or without Tua can't beat the Jets...
The Dolphins record without Tua is terrible. That's a 50/50 game. I'm afraid we're going to rely on Denver beating KC. The Chiefs have Reid. Im still not comfortable with that game, either.

Yeah I really don’t want to face Cincinnati, who would be coming off 6 straight wins (if they win tonight), in the wildcard round. Come on Pittsburgh! Or Miami. Or Denver.

But they should be able to beat any of those 3 teams if they’re actually legit contenders. If they can’t get by Cincinnati, they probably weren’t getting past Kansas City anyway.
