McDermott needs to make adjustments this offseason to his defense. I don’t blame Babich at all. There’s some scheme/personnel issues. We got to get bigger up front and stop the run. Force teams to throw more instead of eat clock.

That would have been a highlight reel catch if he would have held on to that.

Not an easy catch for sure, but you can’t ask for a better thrown ball there. Not necessarily something I expect Keon to hold onto right now, but definitely something I hope he catches more consistently as he gets older and hits his prime.

Sun game against Miami was one (Butt Punt)

The other one was against Detroit on Thanksgiving. Ed Oliver sacked Goff in the end zone.

They let them move the ball twice. And ended both those drives on great defensive plays. They also had a safety on a different drive.

If it wasn't 4th down I'd agree, but really what are you going to do if you call timeout? Run a play to get the first down, call timeout again, and kick anyway? Too much chance to lose the 3 points if you run another play with not a lot of upside (basically scoring on the 4th and 2 play)
