Eh, I don't think we're missing much by replacing Hamlin and Rapp with Lewis and Bishop.

Watson and Rodgers piss me off. I really liked these Browns and Jets teams, but those two are the Anti-Christ and I will not be wishing them well. No sir.

Disagree! Especially on Rapp who has made lots of excellent plays this season with key PBUs and tackles to save TDs or force turnovers.

Feels like they are similar to the Dolphins except Goff can toss the occasional bomb. They biggest thing tonight is getting pressure on Goff, if they replicate their Stafford pressure, it will be a lonngggg game
Eh, they're much more physical and don't rely nearly as much on misdirection in the running game as Miami. I guess the passing fans are similar in theory but Goff gets the ball there much quicker. (And Detroit isn't prone to abandoning the run the way Miami can be)

Speaking of abandoning the run, KC has ran 7 straight plays ending in incomplete passes with a 14 point lead against Cleveland. It's like they WANT every game to come down to one score.

EDIT: Make that 8. KC had the ball 2nd and 12 on their own 19 with 4:31 left in the third.
They punted there, got the ball back TWICE and still didn't run out the clock on the third quarter. Cleveland even scored in between!
Talk about extending the game...

Tua gonna Tua

And Jameis gonna Jameis.

The latter is more troubling at this moment in time

Mahomes has been beat up today and especially the past two drives. He had a slight limp after the previous series then after being wrapped low he limped off the field following this series.

If they replicate their Stafford pressure, it'll be a minor miracle. I've read that we officially pressured Stafford on 30% of his dropbacks......the most he's been pressured all season.

I don't think Rapp has been as bad as Hamlin, but I think he's been below average and was particuarly terrible last week.

That said, I'd rather we not see both starters out all at once, as much as I'm intrigued to see if Bishop can be an upgrade.

Can't agree on Rapp based on one game. Below average? Nah.

Yeah, at BEST one can call Rapp average. He's another one who takes some awful angles in run support worse than that will frequently overrun the hole he's supposed to fill. He's decidedly average in coverage and has gotten flagged a few times for being handsy and head-hunty.

I said this last year, and I'm going to say it again: we need 2 new safeties.

Hopefully Bishop is one half of that new tandem

we drafted one and I'm sure they had higher hopes for Edwards. They have good cap space and are loaded with draft options next off season if they feel the need.

Definitely not All Pro caliber and certainly a friendly fire violator at times, but again he's made game changing plays.
