For the South FL people on here: I know there are a bunch of backer bars in Ft Lauderdale, but I’m going to be staying in Kendall for the weekend and wondering if anyone knows of any Bills bars in that area?

I'm out here, healing the wounds for the holidays

We're all gonna look back at the Diggs era and fawn over it in a short bit of time. I do not like his brother and I think that he could be a lockerroom cancer, but he's without a doubt the greatest WR in team history.

Reed was nice and I grew up with him and then Moulds and they were both greats, but neither of them reached the level that Diggs did from 2020-2022. If you wanna go for consistency, sure, he loses. But peak WR? He's as good as it has ever gotten for us, IMO. Maybe 98 or 02 Moulds or 91 Reed have a say, but Diggs just outproduced them all.

If you've ever had a very intense relationship that flames out....that's Diggs. Great while it lasts....always doomed to burn out. The Bills did absolutely everything to keep him happy. But once the offense went away from targeting him all the time, he was ready to move on.

Its a shame about his knee though. He had already slowed down a bit last year. Hopefully he can have a few more good years (in the NFC though...)

He weaseled and sulked his way out of town leaving the Bill's with cap damage (That 31M would have very useful this season). F him!
Alternatively, if he hadn’t forced his way out and stayed here and gotten injured, we’d still not have him contributing AND wouldn’t be getting much needed cap relief next season. And we’d be minus a second round pick. All in all, him forcing his way out worked great for us long term, considering the injury.

I'm not sure Josh is having this caliber of season with Diggs still on the roster. And hell, we got an extra 2nd round pick out of it.

It all worked out for the best. I have no ill will towards Diggs.

It was just Diggs time to go. His time here was awesome and that bills team was one of the best in team history. But no, I don’t think he was as good Reed or even Moulds.
At his peak he was a better player and I don't think that's really debatable. But it's hard to compare that against the team success under Reed or the longevity and consistency of Moulds

And that 31 million of dead cap we're paying this year would be on the books still next year (or a portion of it at least)

At his peak he had better production. But there’s plenty of factors that go into that. Moulds at his peak was just a ridiculous talent and player imo

Any receiver comparison which involves a receiver prior to 1994 has to include the downfield chucking rule change. Diggs never had to fight through hand checking until the point the ball was thrown.

For me, Reed was the superior receiver. He had to fight through coverage past 5 yards. It’s also why I’ll always think Rice was better than Moss or Johnson.

Moulds never had an Allen either. He played with so many QB's over his career. Last year of Kelly's career. Tail end of Bledsoe's career. Couple years from Flutie. Couple more from Losman. There is very little doubt that a Moulds+Allen marriage would have been special. Moulds wasn't just a hell of a talent talent. He was also a terrific teammate. The anti Diggs.

It's funny, but the Vikings I'm sure are saying the same thing. Only instead of a second, they have Jefferson. No regrets about making the trade - it was essential at the time, and paid dividends immediately. But, it's the reality of the situation.

Just don't look up what he's currently is the news for though...
