Loved this one!

Bruce coming with the receipts has been fun. But, if Josh wins the MVP over Lamar, the receipts of the Ravens defending Lamar over Josh last year largely because of wins will be amazing.

Buffalo tried to go out and get Antonio brown. So some of this is a bit of luck rather than a master class of GM work. Beane has been great, but he’s had his fair share of misses too.

Just taking the AB talk as an excuse to repost this thing that I made when the trade fell through.

Well, while I am confident we CAN beat the Rams, I don't know if we will. The Rams issue is they haven't been good on 3rd down, their secondary doesn't tackle well, and they aren't good against the run.

We will see. I think we are due for a meh game, and if that happens against a desperate team like the Rams, we will lose.

I'm convinced we drop one against either the Jets or the Pats just to screw with their draft position.

I don't think we win out. I think a split with LA/Detroit and the last game of the season vs NE depends on if the 1 seed is still in play.

I think the ideal setup is the Chiefs @ Denver game is a saturday game so we know if the game has any meaning.

The very worst case scenario is that the game vs the Patriots is for 2/3/4 seeding if we drop a few games.

Part of this is me being the eternal buffalo fan just waiting for the doomswitch to hit since a lot has gone well for the Bills so far. We've caught good teams when they were banged up (San Francisco, KC, @ Seattle), we played Indy with Flacco instead of the resurgent Richardson, it looks like we might catch Detroit with a banged up defense next week. Just kind of waiting for 'one of those games'. Maybe we got it out of our system early with the Balitmore and Houston game.

LA has potential to be a tough out, especially because of their elite defensive line. But on the flip side, they're a team that's in crisis that could have a 49ers type collapse if we get out in front early.

Cross country travel is never easy.

Should have a good amount of Bill's mafia in attendance. I know a few people going.

It's going to be strength on strength with Dawkins and Brown going up against Young, Fiske, Turner, and Verse.

Great back and forth game here tonight. Might need 40 and the ball last to beat the Lions. So many weapons!

Ended up not mattering because Detroit could have ran the extra 10 seconds off anyway, but the scoreboard operator botched the end the game in favor of the Lions. When they marked the runner short of the 1st down to create 3rd and inches, GB had called timeout to stop the clock, but they got it back when the review marked Detroit short of the first down. GB then used it to stop the ten second run off (and stop the clock) before the 3rd down play. However, instead of bringing the clock to 1:37, when the previous play ended, the scoreboard operator still enforced the 10 second runoff (despite the official saying Green Bay had used a timeout to stop the run off) and set the clock to 1:27, and no one noticed.

Those 10 seconds could have been HUGE if Detroit kicked on 4th down or didn't get the 4th down conversion.

I noticed that too and thought I was losing my mind

Gotta get the WR screen game working to offset the pass rush for sure. Let their d-line get upfield, make the back 7 guys try to tackle in space.

100 percent. When you have Shakir and some solid blocking WRs like Hollins and Coleman, you need to take advantage of it if the opponent is going to otherwise be blitz heavy.
