lol at the dumpster fire that is NYG. The worst thing that happened to them was that fluke making the playoffs.
I'm curious if Mara pushed them to sign Jones after the playoff win or if Schoen really thought it was the best idea to extend him instead of making him earn a long-term deal through the franchise tag. It sounded like Schoen got hoodwinked by DJ's agent when he talked about the thought process behind extending him

Bills magic numbers to clinch the AFC East heading into their bye week:

Miami - 2

NJ Jets - 1

New England - 1

The San Fran game could be a hat and t-shirt game...

Will fix everything
when Mac jones and Daniel jones can lead teams to the playoffs, the Bills draught is even more incredible.

Not saying management was good during the playoff drought, it wasn't, but....the biggest reason was that New England absolutely owned us. Having 2 losses in ink when the schedule is printed PLUS having to compete for only 2 wild card spots every year is pretty rough. A few of those 9-7 years would have been 11-5 in a different division.

I feel for Burrow man. A great talent that is being squandered away
Yup ... he won't have the same level of talent around him for much longer. The luxury of having two number one level receivers is washing away.

That said, I'll be happy if they don't make it. We literally play as bad against them as I've seen compared to any other opponent.

Their defense is so mucb worse than years past. Dont get me wrong, Id rather avoid them. Any team with a QB that can go toe-to-toe with Allen is a big time risk, but theyre not nearly the team they were in 2022 when they whooped us.

How is Torrence this year? If he becoming that mean guard we hoped to get when drafting?
Torrence is developing very nicely. Joe B has him graded as the weakest O-lineman when taken over the course of the season, but I think a lot of that came from some early struggles (for perspective -- he's graded 15th overall of 31 Bills that qualify for his grading scheme/criteria).

If he keeps developing this way, I see multiple Pro Bowls and maybe an All-Pro team in his future. Hell, maybe even this year if he keeps the form he had yesterday. Dude shut down Jones rather completely.

The only downside to the win yesterday is that the '72 Dolphins were popping bottles last night thanks to the Bills W.
On the other hand, look at it this way. The highlight of their entire season will be the Bills winning a game that they had nothing to do with.

I want to point this out as to the coaching:

We all know that Worthy eviscerated us on the one drive. He did exactly jack squat the rest of the game. Just more proof that McBabich are top-notch when it comes to taking away the thing that opposing offenses want to do.......even if takes said offense doing it for a drive.
Let's hope no one snatches him or Brady up. Brady is probably the best OC Allen has had. Daboll was good, too, but he abandoned the run too often and forced Allen to be the hero every game. I'm not entirely convinced this more 'matured version' of Allen happens under any of the other OCs.

Also shows how good Reid is at scheming a drive or set of plays that they made Worthy look competent for a few minutes

This season has easily been the best job I’ve ever seen our coaching staff do with making in-game adjustments.
