Regardless of how this ends, one would think Alabama will have to be much more impressive next week to have a chance to get in with 2 losses. This was not the performance they needed.

Gutty performance from Finley

Graham Mertz 21/38.

Iowa and Michigan...I think will be a better game?

None of you heard about the Penn State/Illinois 9OT game? They couldn't get any of the 2's

If Michigan doesn’t take it seriously probably.

That will be a throwback old school matchup. And probably better for Michigan.

I actually think this works out for Michigan:

1. Wisconsin would have been looking for revenge for the blowout earlier this year on their minds. UM did not play the Hawkeyes this year. The old saying, it's tough to beat the same team twice

2. Iowa had a better record than Wisconsin, so it'll be tough for UM to overlook a team that went 10-2 as opposed to 3 losses

Alabama could beat Georgia, but they better improve their pass blocking greatly in a week.
I'll say this:
Bama can beat Georgia IF they lose to UGA close in the SEC title game and still somehow make it to the playoff for a rematch.
On a rematch, I like Bama. Saban will formulate a master plan + UGA might get a little too cocky in that scenario.

UGA should win the natty without breaking a sweat, tho.

Bama gonna win the natty somehow :help:

They could very well beat Georgia next week but if they play anything even close to the way they played tonight they'll be absolutely buried. If they got mauled at the LOS by Auburn, imagine what the nation's best team in the trenches could do to them.

I hope this is the year Georgia finally wins it and they'll probably have to beat Alabama at least once along the way to do it.
