Brandon Allen starting for the Niners at Green Bay this week

EDIT: Bah NotABadPeriod beat me to it. I thought I refreshed the page too.

To add something new, Trent Williams is also a game time decision this week. Niners are banged up for sure.

“Hate to see it”. What a dumpster fire.

Had getting release because of his contract.

If he gets injured he cant get cut in the off season thus guaranteeing the contract. The idea was he isnt playing anymore this sesson.

The Camry to a mutual agreement making him a free agent

I'm wondering if the Niners are looking at packers as a must win and see buffalo as rest all the important players for a playoff run.

I'm expecting them to hire Mike McCarthy, he's in the last year of his deal and the Cowboys will almost certainly let it run out without extending him. Hiring McCarthy to run it back with Rodgers seems exactly like a thing the Jets would do.

On the one hand, I'm dubious.

On the other hand, he does get results. Never even thought about this...

If by "hate" you mean "love and want nothing but (to see it) every waking moment for the rest of my life", sure.

"Market" is a term thrown around by players' agents when it benefits them - not unlike realtors, car dealerships' salesmen, bankers, brokers, HR hiring managers, etc. There is no context to "market", which is where the rest of the world actually exists. It's self-serving, and to be ignored by rational adults, particularly those in positions of great responsibility.

I maintained that if you don't have a true franchise quarterback leading your team, in today's NFL, you are nowhere. That is to say, you're shooting for a 9-8 or 10-7 season, perpetually. Maybe you break into the playoffs. Maybe you win a game, or even two. But the chances of that team making to the Super Bowl is close to zero. And we saw that in Buffalo for nearly twenty years. It was a miserable experience that cost the team its relevance, and it nearly cost the city its franchise when stadium talks came up.

When the Giants threw that mega-deal at Daniel Jones, instead of Barkley, they contradicted a core belief in that lockerroom that if you work your ass off, and you do a good job, you will be compensated accordingly. That belief is how you get everyone pulling in the same direction, as hard as they can. Daboll just compounded matters by berating his players and fellow coaches, when things went exactly as expected.

They should have made Saquon the highest paid back in the league, and let Daniel Jones walk. He was the face of that franchise, it would have saved the organization 20+ million dollars, the team would have ended the season in the same or better position come draft time, and the coaches and management would still have credibility in that lockerroom. Instead, I fully expect Daboll and Schoen to be fired in the near future.

That would be be 2 former Bill's front office guys who couldn' do it (Schoen & Gaine), and tbd on Dan Morgan. Probably tells you something about Beane.

Terrance Grey, Malik Boyd, and Lake Dawson could be next to get a shot.

Gaine gets a pass,.he was sacrificed in Houston. Seeing Schoen in hard knocks, there is no way that Beane operates that loose and the way they built the giants seems against the grain.
