We should start talking about Shane Wright

3 points in 18 games??? ooops! these are bust numbers. Yes I know it's way early but that is a very slow start no matter how you try to twist the truth. SW will have to show a lot more soon or he will be label as a mistake.

yep same as slav
Kinda reminiscent of Slaf's 3 points in his D+2, I think his 4th point was game 19. There was a multi-month long thread about him being a bust, but then the mods made sure to ban multiple threads about him being good within days once he started playing well.
yes exactly like slav that first start but then slav went nuts for the second half of the year. so lets see SW go nuts for the rest of this year right?

The funny thing is just recently Slafkovsky has been training for faceoffs and the word is they'd like to try Juraj at C or at least have that option. Imagine him ending up a better NHL C than Wright.

Well I'm pretty sure Filip Mesar isn't one of those. Despite how he's playing this season in the AHL he's just a bad pick in my book.

Man, you still got money on Casey ehhh? I mean I'm not saying he won't be an NHL'er but...

The thing is last year people were going crazy over Gauthier. C-R-A-Z-Y So crazy that they're still riding that kid's "expletive deleted." So either they can't admit that they were wrong or just think that eventually he'll be as good as what they saw in their own minds.
There is no word on Slaf trying at center. Marc Bureau is training some of the centers to take faceoffs and some other players in case they get booted out of the circle by the ref and need an alternate. That's it.

Simmer down hermano. We're all on the outside looking in. Juraj has a skillset that may indeed make him a possible C. He is indeed working on his skills on the dot. Lots of Montreal commentators have grown curious since Dach ain't cutting it this season at C and Newhook is underwhelming. Jebus we have Evans at the 2C position. Hopefully Beck will turn out as a solid #3 guy and Hage in a few years will work out. There's a reason people were jazzed when they found out that Demidov was up for playing C.

Face it the Centre position on the present and future Habs is far from settled.
