Almost a must win here for Vegas, they're in trouble if they drop two at home.

Yep, have to think Vegas is viewing this game as a must win. Going down 2-0 and heading back to Minny would not be ideal considering their record there.

Ek just go do your thing out there and hope that Fiala and Kirill get better chances this game, and Hartman makes McFlurry pay for robbing him of his entire hockey career with those saves.

Kaprizov and Fiala both had golden chances last game, but Fleury came up huge. Eventually, those pucks will start to go in.

I wonder if Vegas tries to get really physical? That's what they try to do against a lot of teams. Short of injuring Kaprizov or Spurgeon, I don't know if it will work. Mn's strength is that they have some crap players in their top 6, a really good physical 3rd line, and some more crap players on their 4th.

I know a lot of fans from other teams hate Vegas, but I am ok with them. It must completely suck for them to be 2nd overall in League standings, and have to play the one team in the league that gives them fits, year after year.

Is there any update on Pacioretty or another game time decision?

Vegas really needs the forwards without the puck to crash the net and disrupt Minnesota's defense better. A bunch of shots from outside or at the faceoff dots isn't gonna get it done. They need to bust the collapse and grab a 1 or 2 goal lead first or this is going to be another defensive slog.

The second one.

The second one.
When VGK are successful against the Wild it's in transition, or on the PP, with Stone usually having a big hand in things. He really should've had a goal in the last game.

Right? How did we get hosed? Dallas would have made more sense to be in the west division. Oh well.

Not really. They are in the same time zone as MN.

What screwed everything up is the Canadian division. They basically stole a West Coast team and a Mountain team, which is why MN got screwed.

Well yeah. Minnesota's defense is one of the best in the league top to bottom. It would make sense that situations in which they are outnumbered would produce better results..
