Coleman ever go to to the tent (Concusion) btw or were they looking at his arm/chest ? He did look look droosy though on the sideline

There was 10 seconds left when the ball was snapped for the FG. They would have had like 4-5 seconds if he missed to try to get closer.
There was 5 seconds when the play ended, there would have been 5 seconds when it ended after a miss as well.

The disaster scenario would have been a block.

Beane needs to find an upgrade for the LB group. Even if they are banking on Milano’s return, I doubt he’ll be at a place where you won’t need to rotate him out.

Big growing pains day for the defense - nice to get a win regardless. We knew it wasn't going to be perfect this year.
When Miami isn't forced to be one-dimensional, they're a damned good offense. Tua was practically perfect (really, only ONE incompletion).

Our LBs played like ass, and our safety play wasn't much better.

Big time learning day for the D.

To be fair, this was the worst game they've had all season. Dorian especially.

If this is NOT the norm, we're OK until Milano comes back.

That said.....I'm all about getting a guy who can actually play some in the middle.

To me, it all starts with the line. They were consistently moved off the line in the run game and provided very little pressure on Tua in the passing game. We need more out of Rousseau/Oliver/Jones/Epenesa/Miller.

Jones has been a HUGE disappointment to me this year. He's nowhere CLOSE to what he was last year. I think that's then affecting Oliver.

I've been largely pleased with Groot/AJE/Von/Toohill....and Smoot has been very good wherever he plays this year.

As fun as it is to chat here I took the second half to talk ball with assorted family along a wide spectrum of football knowledge and that was about as entertaining as it gets

Also the announcers talking about a hail Mary attempt were insane even with bass and his problems. The odds are wildly different

It may have been their worst game of the season, so far, but with the competition ramping up in the coming weeks, especially with TE and running games that will test them, they can’t afford to go into those weeks without trying to trade/find an upgraded LB(s).

They need to check their ego and understand that their current LB Corp is not up to the level of a contender.
