I do. Cause Kane and Drai can be pretty Pejorative Slured at times.
They reeled it in against LA this year. Was expecting them to throw the series if they ended up with Vegas, we'll see if they keep it together against Vancouver.

I didn’t say Oilers weren’t well coached, but his roster isn’t exactly doing what wasn’t already expected. Canucks’ roster is doing something that isn’t expected of their talent level. It’s not about win record alone. It’s about talent level on roster and performance. That’s why it’s coach like Brunette and Tocchet are up for the Adams, not Knoblach. Taking a roster to play above their talents.
It's usually the luckiest coach that wins the Adams. They are usually fired within a season or two of winning.

Not sure I would want that kiss of death trophy. lol

Can almost set a clock to it at this point.

Team exceeds expectations on the back of PDO and team wide outlier/career performance years? Get that guy the Jack Adams.

Same team comes back to earth the next season to match the correct expectation of the team from the prior season? Fire the coach because expectations weren't met.

I think Nucks is a bubbleteam who has overachived, like Flames some years ago (regular) and Canadiens in that playoffrun.

Some team always surprise every season, but most of them goes back to normal the season after and some even longer.

Enjoy the moment and stay rational, its hurts less then when the truth catch you.

Most fans already know this. They were expected to be a bubble team this season. That’s why most fans consider this playing with house money, expectations have been met and exceeded. Anything else is just gravy at this point.

Thanks. Appreciate the advice from a fan of another bubble team that had a good year last year and then reverted back to the more normal 9th place finish.
Always good to hear from someone who has gone through it already.

What’s going to catch them is their cap situation. It gets worse.

You're probably right, it'll be lucky if they even score a goal this series... Sucks, guess we will see you guys next season, dw this series will be easy, you'll be all rested up for the next.

Sure! Hf isnt the best indicator of the majority.

Its easy to be to executed when been in the heller a long time.

We know , have been there!

I dont think you understand what bubble team means.

the oilers last 5 finishes have been 5/2/5/2/5 in the conference.

The cellar Edmonton was in is far deeper than anything Vancouver has had to be in. A team regarded as a bubble team just won their division without having to rack up multiple 1st overall picks.

Oh hey, look! More of these regular season stats that “don’t matter”.

Sry if i hurted your feelings. Did i wrote that?

No playoff serie is a walk in the park, maybe im homeblind, but 4- 2 was my vote days ago.

Think you can put up a fight, but the end will be the same.

Where have they been the last couple years with the exact same core.
They added 4 new D. That’s a significant turnover. And their young captain took another huge step.
But we know the standings never change. Teams never improve and never get worse.

And who says they’re a bubble team? You?
You’re hardly objective.

Canucks don’t have a more talented roster. Everyone agreed media and fans alike before this season. Everyone had the Oilers winning the division. That didn’t happen though, because the Canucks are better coached. Even with Oilers coaching change, and the Canucks’ own adversity, Canucks still won the division.

The music and drums are starting to sound a lot like pre-season, and all I say is, wait until the puck drops because a well-coached team can punch above their weight.
I think no matter what it’s a battle to 6 or 7 games. It’s tighter than the predictions suggest.

I’d say the Canucks are clearly better than the wildcards of the West, despite round one. One major difference is that the Flames actually believed in themselves that year so they didn’t bring up the refs until part way through the series.

We have been in the cellar where you been for a long time.

Only mention that to be a steady playoff team and take steps every year, doesnt happen over night.

A Gm bad deals can hold you off for years.
