Big Game Story: WCSF’s Round 2. Game 7 in any playoff series is a pressure-cooker, a win-or-go-home experience that can cause even the calmest of minds to start
jumping around. The home team has won every game in this series so far, but the Sharks are hot, winning three of the past four to force this Game 7.
Can the Sharks continue their resilient play? Or will the Kings' championship pedigree carry them to the Western Conference Finals?
KINGS need to remind SHARKS, KINGS FANS and THEMSELVES which team just won a Stanley Cup Championship. GO KINGS GO !!!

2013WCQFScheduleRnd1_zps19d9c141.png

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

Can someone explain to me how this wasn't goalie interference? Couture makes no attempt to dodge Quick who is simply skating back to his net taking the same path every goalie in the NHL takes... How can they call Lewis but allow that? I've seen a lot of people on the main board say Quick deserves things like this because of how he pushes players, but has he ever pushed someone who didn't initiate contact?

CowMix, I feel your pain, shoulda been called, but it doesn't matter anymore.

Don't take penalties. Hit them often, hit them hard. Defensemen: crisp outlet passes. Forwards: tape-to-tape passing and forecheck hard. We will win this. Dare I say it?

3-0 Kings w/ EN.

Another night of no sleep before a Kings playoff game, and I don't think it will be the last of the year.

It's our game to win or not. We can beat the Sharks at their best, I don't think the reverse of that is true. All we need is Quick to be Quick and just a couple guys to produce. With all the intensity and the crowd behind them, I see us getting two in, and #32 defending that.

Praying we take it, I want more Kings hockey.

Go Kings Go!!!

Go Kings. Just play like you played in game 5. In fact, if you advance try to play more like you did in game 5, especially on the road.

Top line, step up.
Big guys, Penner and King, make you physicality felt.
Lewis, take key face-offs.
Quick, no matter what you're our guy.

It's a game 7, and Sharks have as much chance as Kings have. I won't beat myself if we lose, unless we lose like Leafs, I'm glad we have a bright future with this team. If we repeat or lose in next rounds, we still need to make some adjustments in summer. If Sharks advance I'll be rooting for them to complete Cali triumph. They're a likeable team except Galiardi, well every team has one of those guys.

I'm a STH, but wasn't able to buy playoff strips this year, so I have been picking off individual games to attend, like the series clincher vs St Louis. On a hunch last night, I went on stubhub - to my surprise, my regular season seats were available.

I took it as a sign, so I bought them!

stay out of the box. tight aggressive fore check. hit them until they've got snot balls coming out of their nose. the same approach they had in game 5, that had them second guessing and looking for contact not their own guys.

most importantly close the damn F - D gap, so there is better support with and without the puck. the Sharks take control and win when the Kings don't do this. SJ's forwards skate inside the gap and disrupt LA's game.

AEG wanted a home game. They already paid for the streamers and hired a singer.
Kings will win this 4-2.
