As a Stars fan, I'm considering rooting against the Stars in this round so I don't have to worry about hearing Buccigross's dumb ass speak any more than I have to. The guy is a f***ing idiot.
It could be worse, you could have Hammerhead and the corpse of John Garrett on sportsnetJohn Buccigross on the call with Leah Hextall between the glass is as brutal of a commentary team as it gets. F all of us forced to watch on ESPN.
I really hope we all learn a little something about friendship along the wayWin or lose let's just have fun
Never said entering 3rd period. Just 2-0 IN the thirds period.Blues jets werent 2-0 entering 3rd, it was 3-1
But it was never 2-0 in the 3rd period. They were down two goals which is simjlar but the score was never 2-0 in the third period. The score was already 3-1Never said entering 3rd period. Just 2-0 IN the thirds period.
To say Dallas is so much better than St Louis and they are going to destroy the Jets is laughable. St Louis was the hottest team in hockey, remember what happened last time they were the hottest team going into the playoffs? Panthers squeaked in to the playoffs and look what they did. You're in for a surprise if you think Dallas walks all over the Jets. Not taking anything from Dallas as they are a great team but people acting like if we struggled against St Louis, we are screwed vs Dallas. People aren't giving St Louis enough credit. Obviously they don't have the star power but playoffs is more than just having stars.
Between win/loss record, goals for/against/ penalty kill/power play/faceoffs, starting goalie stats, top end player point production, the only advantage I see the Blues have is a 0.01% better PP than Dallas and they gave up 2 shots less per game on average. Pretty much advantage to Dallas in every category.
Now, I agree that Dallas isn't going to destroy the Jets but I think fans are giving Winnipeg that reputation of being an easier out because Hellebuyck has, over the last three runs, shown he can't handle the pressure of high stakes games it seems.
Slaugther by ??For real, this series should be a slaughter if Miro and Robo are back and Otter continues playing at this level.
This thread is about a playoff series featuring the Winnipeg Jets and Dallas Stars. The series will require at least 4 and at most 7 games to decide who advances the conference finals.
The winner of this series will face either Vegas or Edmonton in the conference finals.
FYI - you got Dallas's seed wrong in the thread title. They're C2.
Because they lose the first game of every series.Stars in 6. They should win in less, but over the last few years Dallas seems to enjoy dragging out a winnable series.
Actually look at the urban/metro population as a market to draw from. You have Irving, Garland, Arlington and especially Fort Worth. It is like one big city. You don’t know where one city ends and another begins. That would be like 6 to 8 million..![]()
85,630 in attendance, Dallas popluation is 1.3 million so... 6.5% of the City was at the game. I would guess your opinion is incorrect.
Most of us Jets fans will be super nice, as long as the Stars aren't headhunting our best players lolObviously wanna win and everything, but seems at a glance the Winnipeg fans will be infinitely easier to deal with than whatever shit the Avs fans were slinging all series. Let’s have a good series northern buddies. Sorry about the whole trade war thing
