Flames would have won this game if Markstrom didn't crap the bed in the first 20 seconds. That pretty much set the tone for this game.
This series has been closer than 3-1 makes it look.Still pretty early to be talking about the Avs. I think we will weather it but this game was hardly the total domination of 3. Game 5 will be hard fought CGY didn't totally collapse.
I still can’t envision a scenario in which this series ends before Game 7.
CGY had the best road record in the league during the RS, winning these two games at home was massive and is also a pretty big outlier for the Flames. EDM having two road games is actually a bonus as far as results in the season go.Possibly, I guess the difference between this series and the St Louis series is that Colorado has two chances at home to close out the series while Edmonton only has one.
Only hope for Calgary now is to win the home game and hope to steal one in Edmonton and who knows what happens in game 7.
Easy turbo. You don't know that.Flames would have won this game if Markstrom didn't crap the bed in the first 20 seconds. That pretty much set the tone for this game.
Markstrom crapping the bed in the first period was game, otherwise he was solid after that and made 3 or 4 ten bell saves in the third.Easy turbo. You don't know that.
Flames would have won the game if they scored more goals than the Oilers.Flames would have won this game if Markstrom didn't crap the bed in the first 20 seconds. That pretty much set the tone for this game.

They should’ve won the game after Smith gift wrapped the tying goal. No one to blame but themselves if you can’t capitalize on a gimme like that.Flames would have won this game if Markstrom didn't crap the bed in the first 20 seconds. That pretty much set the tone for this game.

I never saw any of Calgary's 3 goals. I was busy on my laptop, it was 3-0, then I looked up and suddenly it was 3-2. Later, I ran to the washroom, came out and it was 3-3.They should’ve won the game after Smith gift wrapped the tying goal. No one to blame but themselves if you can’t capitalize on a gimme like that.
Oh.I never saw any of Calgary's 3 goals. I was busy on my laptop, it was 3-0, then I looked up and suddenly it was 3-2. Later, I ran to the washroom, came out and it was 3-3.
Old man = When I have to go, I have to go.Oh.
So you're who Smith was blaming then.
It all makes sense now.
Comedy of errors.I never saw any of Calgary's 3 goals. I was busy on my laptop, it was 3-0, then I looked up and suddenly it was 3-2. Later, I ran to the washroom, came out and it was 3-3.
From bottom to the 3rd line they are okiedokie. Leafs are bar none a top 17 hockey team in the NHL"Top to bottom" isn't the expression I would use, given that the Oilers' top players are much better than the Leafs' top players.
Me too! I figured it was bad luck for Oilers when I step away so I stayed glued to the TV until the end of game. Its' fun when you can help influence the outcome like thatI never saw any of Calgary's 3 goals. I was busy on my laptop, it was 3-0, then I looked up and suddenly it was 3-2. Later, I ran to the washroom, came out and it was 3-3.
Didn't realise I was replying to someone who looks at stats instead of watching the games. Carry on.You said they were the two best players in last 30 years.
Did you mean two of the best 15 or so players in the last 30 years?
