It depends on the game. We are seeing more teams employ traps of sorts, but those are exceptions.

Personally, I can feel the tension. It's exciting to me. Every event, however few there may be, has the potential to have a huge impact on things.

Lots of defensive teams in the west.

LA, Nashville, Vancouver, Vegas has always been defensively sound, etc. I think it's the west that has the most 'boring' hockey because of these teams.

Re: Leafs-Boston. I just think it's a result of the Leafs being bad at scoring in the playoffs more than anything else.
