I dunno…with EJ mentioning game 1, the Toews coy comment today and Lando going from the green practice jersey to the 2nd line jersey in the middle of practice I’m getting the feeling he plays tomorrow.

I never watched hockey before, but colorado avalanche is clearly the best team reminds me so much of the 2001 team, they even brought chris drury back.

I'm thinking a few options with landeskog could be tell dallas that he's playing and rest him this game, so they will be confused. 2nd option could be have landeskog call dallas team and tell them he isn't playing but then secretly play and score a hattrick like he did on the Eagles. Last risky option could be dress him and have him sit on the bench all game to really confuse the dallas team. Will be interesting how it all unfolds because he is truly the heart and soul of colorado and just really so happy this team is good again after the brutal years when we had to watch duchene be a diva and complain. Looking forward to watching first ever nhl game in my life (with drinks) and watch this team that is insanely good

A rare really good pod from DNVR thanks to Petey. I wish they would bring him onto the Avs team full-time. Always provides valuable insight.
Not quite hockey professor level, but that's as close as I've seen in a minute.
Anyone who hates on Duchene is good in my book though.
My first NHL game was in Pittsburgh, second was Sakic's retirement, but I've been a fan since day 1 in Denver. So I get the excitement lol.

Scoring first feels so important against DeBoer so he can't muddy up the neutral zone as much. Something they couldn't do last season.

0. The Eagles game foreshadowed things that Gabe first time on the scorecard in this series will be a penalty. One he receives finally unleashing all his pent up frustration from the last 3 years and beats the shit out of Benn.

NGL Duchene’s first game against San Jose and Vancouver was probably one of the most excited I’ve been for a prospect. He was dancing and making so many unreal plays. Surely thought he was going to be a franchise player for us.
