Maybe. But signing another $3M 1 year contract with Dallas seems a little far fetched to me. Being what, 34 years old? Seems like he’d want to maximize his earnings especially with the cap going up. I’d also think he’d want term given his age. Given the market for 2Cs, I wouldn’t take it as a given that he’ll re-up for cheap. And wasn’t he one of their top scorers? Is that how the organization treats players that it needs?

I agree. In this market he can cash in serious coin. He would be leaving on table 20-30mil if he takes 3mil deal again. I don't see him loving Texas that much.

Stars fan here... I honestly think you guys are gonna take it in 5 or 6. I think if the Stars some how win the series its going to be because either Otter plays lights out or Miro comes back sooner than expected (Stars in 7 if that's the case). I'm not expecting much. Regardless, whoever wins this series better take out the Jets.

Let's have an injury free series!

Believe in Blackwood.

He's a super highly competitive, level-headed down to earth guy. No question he will rise to the occasion, as will the whole team. We're gonna see some of the most awesome Avs hockey since the cup run. Outta the f***ing way, league!
