Is there a legal way to watch live Rangers game after cutting the cord and cancelling cable?

It is really the only reason I still have cable.

I live in Suffolk so I am considered "in market."

Could always get Center Ice and stream from an iPad/computer. Not sure what the trade-off is as far as money goes though.

If you have a friend with cable, tell him to get an extra cable box (that's not attached to a TV) and put a slingbox on it. Pay for the box and perhaps a bit more (maybe throw in access to your netflix subscription if you have one).

I cancelled my TV service as well, and I now use Hockey Streams and its great. It also doesnt have the blackout issues that Gamecenter has.

Another vote for HockeyStreams.com. Quality feeds and very reliable. Plus you can watch CHL and AHL games, as well as pre and post-season NHL games without limitations. They even show the trade-deadline specials to boot. Also, being able to "pause" your subscription in the off-season is a nice bonus to save some dough.

One thing with Hockeystreams, you have to apply for a membership, and it takes a week to a month until they respond. Should keep that in mind.

I'm not sure if this site is legal though, their servers are in Europe where US law can't do much.

Man I thought you were trying to watch the Rangers immediately after your wife gives birth :/

I didn't have to apply for membership. Is that new? I purchased a membership and watched later that night. Two years ago I believe.
