No, it went in off the toe of the flames players skate.

There were other angles that showed it.

flames player new he was guilty when it went in. Other wise he would have protested a little and said it went off his feet.

If Namestnikov was last to touch the puck, then it's absolutely no goal. Ppl seem to be saying it was off the defender's toe and in. From that angle I can't tell.

They don't disallow goals for attempted kicking.
Two weeks ago when Toronto played Detroit, Bobby McMann's 1st career NHL goal was waived off because he kicked the puck off the skate of Olli Maatta and it went into the net. He was trying to kick the puck towards his stick, and it took an unlucky bounce. Under the current rules it was the right call to not allow the goal, however it's safe to say he wasn't attempting to do that.

That's a really cool story, but it's not the same as McMann actually kicked the puck this one is kicked at but goes in off the Flame player.

Kicking at a puck and actually kicking the puck are different. I didn't see the Lightning player's foot actually make contact with the puck, just the Flame player.

Do you really think the league is out to get the Leafs that bad, that you have to make a thread every time something even remotely similar happens just so you can whine about the Leafs not getting every call in their favor?
