Circa the early 2000s, was he in soup commercials where people would taunt him about his relationship with his mother?

I remember these playing constantly at 3PM-4PM after school. But I am not sure if it is a false memory because I don't remember Mats being a big crossover celebrity like an Austin Matthews is now.

I looked them up on YouTube today and couldn't find them, so I'm doubting myself. The big tagline was Mats your mommy is calling you. Was this a Mandela effect?

These were on at the same time as the Lays marketing campaign where Mark Messier taunts people about their obesity. That might send some light.

You remembering Sundin in the commercial is a glitch. It was actually David Hasselhoff. The concept was created when Campbells soup was going to introduce a variation on the German soup kartoffelsuppe
and were trying use Hasselhoff's popularity as a rock music star in Germany at the time. The concept was deemed a failure when the marketing team at Campbells realized that Hasselhoff, potatoes and Germans all suck major ass. (I kid! I love potatoes...)


Germans seem fine as well. I honestly just don't know any.
