Just wondering if any of you guys have owned sticks from both companies. I have used bauer all my life but am thinking about making the shift to warrior. If you have any info on the Mac Daddy, One90, XXX Lite, or XXXX sticks it would be much appreciated.
Warrior v.s Bauer Sticks

Probably a lateral move at best. Unless you are talking about going from a Vapor xxxx to a Warrior Royal.
I literally use both. I have a Vapor xxx-lite shaft with a warrior blade. My back up is either a Warrior Starskie, and a Vapor xx. All three shafts are pretty close. I think the xxx-lite shaft has more pop then the starske or the xx. I like Warrior blades over Bauer though. They have a pattern I like and they they take a beating.

I have a bauer one90 and a warrior dolomite. I prefer the bauer one90.
I can't feel the puck at all with the warrior. Seems too hollow almost plastic like. Although it is light weight. The shots were decent. Many people tell me warriors are prone to breaking easily.
On my bauer one90 the puck feel is great. All I used to use was wood sticks back in the 1990's. The transition to the bauer from wood was an easy one when it comes to the feel of the puck. My shots are much heavier with the bauer. Maybe it's because of the low-mid kick point. Where as on wood sticks they are all mid point flex (like the ak-27).
The weight is a tiny bit heavier with the bauer. I don't mind. It feels like you have more control over the puck, rather it controlling you.
I've had the one90 for about 8 months now. The durability is outstanding.
So in short. Go for Bauer

My experience with Warrior has proven to be the exact opposite.
Lots of personal opinion in these type of threads. People will recommend or suggest the brand they use, and rightfully so. They have confidence in that brand. That doesn't necessarily mean that other brand isn't of equal or better quality. Just means that brand works for them and what works for them might not work for you.

I got a Mac Daddy one piece two years ago and the blade broke after 2 weeks but I've been using the shaft ever since and now I have a Kovalev blade on it. I also have a One90 with a P88 curve and it's still in once piece but I prefer my Warrior. So I say try a Warrior and won't regret it.

Thanks. I have a One90, and my previous stick was a one90 and i was very happy with that. It was very durable with great.Warrior is just exploding in popularity so...... the grass always looks greener

Bauer sticks are great. I've used a lot of sticks and the p88 Lindros in the One 90 is just an all around great stick. Also to those who said that super light sticks seem to give you less control I agree. Your stick seem to become detached from the puck so often.

i have used the one90 and the dolomite. i like the one90 better because it gives a lot more power in your shot, but stick handling is a bit tougher. I would reccomend the one90 for defensemen and the dolomite for forwards.

The only Bauer OPS I've used is the Endure, and the kick point of that thing and the durability mean it's very stiff. The Dolomite has a very low kick point, but the durability is supposed to be excellent.
I'd say the Vapor XXXX and Dolomite are going to be similar, and the One90 will probably be a little more performance than an AK27 combo.

At 50-60 bucks more than most of the sticks being discussed. It most certainly should kick their ***.
I'd love to try one, but no way am I paying over 200 bucks for a stick. Hell, I won't spend more then $130.

i have a Mac daddy, XXX utlra lite and the XXXX. i prefer the XXXX out of all them, the balance and feel of the stick are amazing.
