While the expansion draft is under a year away the waiver bubble is very real and will hit some teams hard. Who are players who may not have a spot on the big club and will have to be pass through waivers on the completion of camp.

Connor Carrick and Phillip Danult are two.

Stefan Noesen for Anaheim. Considering our current group of wingers and Rakell's recent surgery though, Noesen is all but guaranteed a spot in the opening night lineup.

Pretty sure Danault will stick with the big club, even if it's as the 13th.

And with Toronto's blue line, I think Carrick will make the club out of the camp as well!

For Detroit as of now

1 Ryan Sproul
2 Niklas Jensen
3 Martin Frk
4 Jared Coreau
Possibly one of Jurco or Pulkkinen could be placed on waivers once healthy. Detroit needs to shed about $4.2 million to be cap compliant by the start of the season.

Potentials from winnipeg:

Peluso - great fighter, press box player
Thorburn - not that likely but maybe. A heart-and-soul kind of player with not much skill.
Burmistrov - I hope

Taylor Beck, Iiro Pakarinen, Tyler Pitlick, David Musil, Mark Fraser and maybe Anton Lander...he probably sticks though.

Jordan Oesterle is exempt.

In Bergrevin's mind Danault made Eller expendable and that's why they traded him. So I wouldnt bet on him ending up on the waiver.

Stefan Matteau and Brian Flynn might very well though.

Carrick should be fine. Corrado is the one that might be waived on the leafs blueline.

There is not a chance in hell Connor Carrick gets waived

Detroit wont be waiving Ouellet, As of now he will be our 7th D-man that's according to both Blashill and Holland. As far as D-men getting waived it will be most likely Sproul and Jensen Frk and Coreau would be other pieces that more then likely get waived as well.

If Xavier Ouellet is made available at some point, I hope the Canadiens have some interest in him. LH puck mover defenceman which might benefit from a change of scenary. Who knows.

For the Sens I would say Claesson is nearly a lock to be waived, especially if the rumour of them signing Seidenberg comes to fruition. Matt Puempel could be waived as well - Dorion has said his waiver status won't afford him a spot on the team and that he has to earn it.

There are more good-enough players than jobs, so waivers really aren't going to shake anybody loose.

Shore is safe for LA. I wouldn't consider him waiver status because he has some value like Dwight King. I wouldn't consider either locks though and likely to be traded.

Nolan, Andreoff, Forbort, Scuderi and Greene (who's already passed through) all are playing to not lose their jobs and get sent to Ontario via waivers.

Some names I would want confirmed by teams fans:

Oulett, Clendening, Jensen, Etem, and mostly - Ty Rattie?

Zero chance Ouellet gets waived. management though highly enough of him last year to sign him to a 1 way contract. Really odd name to put on this list.
