CBJ (where he interviewed) and everyone seems to believe EDM is going to say goodbye to Holland when their run ends.Who have open (or potentially open) GM spots right now?
Why is he a clown for letting stuff go public? Why is it a bad thing that others know what’s going on? Instead of people speculating they actually know more, big frigging deal…Dundon is seemingly a good owner because his team is doing well but he's kind of a clown for letting all this stuff constantly get brought to public.
I can also see if the Hurricanes start to struggle down the line that he could be an owner that the fans hate.
He hasn’t earned a huge raise though. Columbus isn’t a job you threaten a great team with leaving for. This isn’t the same as Minnesota from before.dude's gonna get paid
and dundon doesn't like that
Ole boys getting recycled again.
Waddell is a clown, he did nothing well and wasted the Thrashers and got another job somehow.
a joke GM.
It’s long been known most of the hockey decisions in Carolina have been made by committee. If Waddell has priced himself out of the teams range what’s the problem with letting him go if they can replace him internally? Not paying guys whatever they want is how you avoid getting yourself into financial trouble.Discount dundon
The amount of money paid to a GM shouldn't be a setting a serious team into financial trouble. It’s long been known most of the hockey decisions in Carolina have been made by committee. The Atlanta Thrashers ownership sucked. Not much Waddell could do with that team. He's done a sold job with the Hurricanes, with the blot that is the Kotkaniemi offer sheet, but who knows if that came from above Waddell or not.Waddell is a clown, he did nothing well and wasted the Thrashers and got another job somehow.

Because they've been brainwashed into believing new is better. Why do people hate ‘ole boys’ so much lmao
Why did they let him re hire the coach then ?Getting a new gm and handcuffing him with a coach he didnt choose is not a recipe for success
It sets a precedent though and there is often a ripple effect. You let one person (even one in a prominent position) do it and then everyone will use that as a case study to do it for themselves. Then you have a problem and your budget is completely busted. The amount of money paid to a GM shouldn't be a setting a serious team into financial trouble.
Their ownership group sucked, but Waddell made some horrendous decisions that can’t be solely blamed by inept ownership. The Atlanta Thrashers ownership sucked.
