Really well-rounded winger. Has size, speed, skill, can pass, shoot, good hockey sense, and he’s good defensively. One of the most impressive forwards in the USHL this season. He has high potential. On the other hand, he's not the most hyped players and he's one of the older players in the 2021 draft. I could understand the argument that someone picks him late first/early second type, and I can also understand the argument that he goes late 2nd/early 3rd instead.

This guy is one of the most underrated players in the upcoming draft. Someone is going to get a 2nd/3rd round steal, although maybe this indicates he might go 1st round.

Drafted in the ninth round, 142nd Overall, in the 2018 USHL Draft, forward Tristan Broz has turned into a draft steal for the Fargo Force. An alternate captain on the team, Broz scored 19 goals and 32 assists for 51 points in 54 games with the team this year. He also put up three goals and eight assists for 11 points in eight playoff games. Broz helped the Force reach the Clark Cup Final. Unfortunately, they lost the Championship Series to the Chicago Steel by three games to one.

Broz was also a key member of the team in 2019-20. He scored 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points in 48 games before the season was shut down. Broz was awarded a spot on the USHL Second All-Rookie Team for his efforts. Broz played just six regular-season games with the Force in 2018-19 but showed his potential picking up a goal and four points. He also played in two playoff games. Broz spent most of the season playing high-school hockey, putting up 29 goals and 27 assists for 56 points in 25 games with Blake. He is committed to playing for the University of Minnesota next year.

4 goals last night. 16 points in his last 10 games.

"– After a quiet season at the University of Minnesota, Tristan Broz transferred over to Denver for 2022-23 and is starting to finally find his stride. He had four goals on Saturday against Miami and another two assists the night before. He had another four-point night just a few weeks ago against Lindenwood. This past weekend’s games were the best of the Pittsburgh Penguins prospect’s NCAA career, and the rest of the season will be about building upon his recent momentum."

He’s a good comparable for Kevan. They shoot different hands, but otherwise similar.

I always believed in Broz. Glad to see he’s gotten it together.

3A tonight gives him 12 points (7G + 5A) in 16 GP as a 22-year-old rookie in the AHL. Gotta think he gets a few NHL games at some point later in the season.
