Vokoun - how many starts?

I thought it was stated by Shero or Bylsma they were basicly planing on going with an almost even split ?

I'd go with about 15 starts

Brodeur I believe started 40 of 48 games in 1995 during their Cup.

Fatigue will be a factor but also will depend on how Fleury is playing

All I know is after the last 3 post seasons, I play the hot hand in the playoffs. I think they should have to battle for it. The goalie playing the best starts, atleast thats how it should be.

Fleury has been starting on average over 60 games in the last 4 seasons. Why can't he start in at least 38 games leaving 10 for Vokoun?

In an 82 game season I'd have guessed we'd see a roughly 50/30 split.. now I'd say about 30/18

Here's an interesting question.

All highly theoretical

Say, MAF ***** the bed come playoffs.

Vokoun goes in.

Vokoun sucks, like really out of place. He has like MAF looked good in the regular season but it all falls apart in the PO's.

Does this change your view of MAF? Or will it simply be because "Vokoun is old" ?

My bet is on 17 games btw.

I believe that I heard during the broadcast of that scrimmage they mentioned that Bylsma said that their expectations were 20+ games.

In a 48 game schedule? I think Vokoun will get around 10 to 15 starts. If it were an 82 game schedule, likely around 25 starts.

They said around 40% (which is around 17 games) and then said around 20 games. So would have to guess 17-22 games and they are not even sure where within that spread it will be.
