I remember when Kravtsov was our most skilled forward prospect! Boy Kakko and Lafreniere blew that out.

Another road game (against Neft) is about to start. Kravtsov is again LW on Sedlak’s line.

Game is underway against Red Stars. Traktor is already down 0:2

Kravtsov - LW on Sedlak's line. So far a few quiet shifts.

Traktor is still down during the first commercial break in the 2nd. Getting extended men advantage. First were able to keep the puck and work 6 on 5, then solid 5 on 4 and at the very end Red Stars take another penalty. Traktor had its chances but no actual result. Their overall PP efficiency for the season is not this good at just over 18%

Kravtsov made a couple of good plays to extend offensive zone possession.

Sedlak just cut the deficit in half on a SH highlight reel goal 1:2. Kravtsov doesn't do PK.

OMG What a goal by Kravtsov to tie!

Down the right side going 1 on 1 against defeseman with a between the legs puck move to go around him and then a backhander over goalie shoulder to roof the puck into the net. Gorgeous!

Man can you imagine if Lundqvist gave up that goal? LOL.

Here's a bit of a context.

Earlier goal from Sedlak's was exactly the same right side / between the legs move but he took the puck to the front of the net. Then another Traktor's forward did exactly the same move and unsuccessfully tried to score by taking the puck to the middle of paint. What made Kravtsov goal "legit" is that he realized that goalie would try to cheat to the middle of the net and went high over his shoulder.

I'm not criticizing it. It was a great shot, to be able to place the puck like that coming in on the backhand. Smart play, well-executed. Good on him. Getting pucks on net is a good thing. I'm also a fan of surprise shots from tough angles.

I still think it's funny that when our guys do it it's awesome, when our guys allow them they need to be pulled immediately and benched for several games.
