Is FF XVI worth a buy?

I played the demo last June and liked it but had to tackle my backlog first. It’s got 2 DLC’s that came out recently too.

haven't really heard anything about it to be honest...but I know I didn't like 15 very much

Its not been as bad as I thought. A buddy and I play every Wednesday, we just finished Remnant2, and decided to give Helldivers 2 a try.

I was worried it was going to be GTA or Red Dead Online. I've only had one idiot and he was an easy kick from the group. Ive only run into the rare level 1-2-3 who accidently wipes the mission.

He and I dont usually play with people we dont know due to asshole potential and we dont want to ruin our one night of freedom. But its actually been fun, sometimes we run a few drops with the same group and other times were one and done.

You can do solo if you like, you just have to change your social settings.

Kinda defeats the game to play solo.

I've been playing with randoms for a couple of weeks and had an absolute blast. Had the odd loser that's a pain, but thats part of online gaming.

From my time with the 16 demo, it’s pretty different from 15. Haven’t played 15 but I’ve hung out with some friends who were playing it and they were like…”this is meh”.

I think I have every 84 in the game atm so it’s dupe city for me. Only PL card I packed was Watkins. Fodder.

Finally finished Havertz. On to Konate I guess.

Same. 83s too. And my transfer list is full of tradable dupes. Wish they’d release an upgrade SBC that isn’t capped at 4 per day…

I’d HIGHLY recommend Havertz at LB. Not going to do Konate because I did the Hincapie evo and I’m now desperately low on fodder after doing Havertz, Alvarez (really good) Odegaard, and Cech.

Yeah, Konate will definitely be worth it. Block+ is crazy good too.

I was doing all those SBCs because I had so much fodder saved and was opening up so many high rated cards after pack saving with nowhere to put them. I opened all 70 packs and didnt get a single good TOTS card.

This is what I'm using in-game right now (but Fuhrich is full chem because I start with 4-2-4 and then switch). Went 7-0 in rivals after I finished WL and got Rodri to get back to Div 2 and make sure I have my wins for Thursday's rewards.

Spoiler: Team

Alvarez is very good, Rodri is absolutely bananas, Havertz is way better at LB than CM (and that upcoming +2 has me excited), and Odegaard has been very underwhelming so far, to be honest. I'd recommend passing on him if you're looking for somewhere to put dupes.
