You guys didnt have a sticky thread for questions on tickets so I created a thread. If theres already a good thread on this, happy to go take a look!

So my fiancé and I are planning a trip to Arizona, grand canyon etc. and coming to Vegas for the Devils game. Its on Sunday 2 March at 5pm.

I was just wondering whats a "good" price for a pair of ticks in lower bowl, visitor attacks twice end?

We live in NYC and here the dynamic pricing fluctuates like crazy. If you buy tickets here 3 months before the faceoff, you probs dont get a good deal as prices usually drop towards the game.

Right now i see a pair of ticks in section 1 on row N for $160 each. Is that an OK deal and not a rip-off? I appreciate its a Sunday game vs an east-coast off-division opponent, so probs not the hottest game of the year, thus $160 feels a little steep but what do i know about Vegas ticket pricing

You don't compare prices to other teams. Compare it to other activities on the Strip. For example Cirque du Soleil, etc.

It's usually $100+ just to get in (SRO). So $160 (plus fees) is in the normal range.

Thanks, makes sense. Got the pair, looking forward to seeing Vegas! And the canyon and other stuff on the trip too, haha

If you guys have any good recommendations for the hockey game (pregame, any specific things to be looking out for) happy to take notes!

Actually that is a very good price. They are almost as good as my regular seats (I sit in row J), and my seats go for about $200/ticket, though I get a substantial discount as an original season ticket holder. Section 1 the opposition, in your case the Devils, shoots twice at your side, section 1 is just behind the VGK goalie in periods 1 and 3.

Do you know something, I actually just signed up to ask a similar question :)

Me & the wife are out in Vegas from the 14th March to the 21st March & have been looking at the game against the Bruins on the 20th March but not sure on the best site to grab tickets from or if any forum members might be able to hook us up :)

This will be my first ever trip to an Ice Hockey game & looking to make a really good experience out of it

So if anyone can help with the best sites to get re-sale tickets from it would be appreciated & sorry to @Capt Nico Poo for the thread hi-jack

Thanks

Neil

I agree with azvgk… that’s a pretty good price.

As far as going to the game-
T Mobile arena is next to NYNY casino resort which is on the “Strip”. There is usually a good vibe outside of NYNY on game nights. Along the faux Brooklyn Bridge and the walkway to the T Mobile there are kiosks serving drinks and occasionally bands playing. Many restaurants both inside and outside of NYNY. One of the most popular on game nights is Beerhaus which is on the way to the arena.

Just outside the arena entrance is Toshiba Plaza which has a DJ playing music and more places to buy drinks.

The Golden Knights have cheerleaders, showgirls and a drumline. About 45 minutes before game time they parade through NYNY, the Park and the Plaza. Warmups start 20 or 30 minutes before posted start time. Actual puck-drop is usually about 10 minutes after posted time right after the cheesy Golden Knight battle.

AXS is the official site for the Golden Knights for both sale and resale. I like it because I can be confident I'm going to get what I'm paying for. Also their app makes it easy to buy last minute which I do. There are many other platforms: Seat Geek, Vivid Seats, Stubhub

Door open about an hour before game start. Warm up starts about 30 minutes before puck drop (30ish minutes after doors open). You can go down to the glass for warm ups (but not in club) even if you have upper bowl seats. Might get lucky and have puck tossed to you. (VGK is on south side of ice; visitor on north.) IIRC scoreboard counts down to end of warmups.

Not all seats (in upper deck) have cup holders.

National games start 15 minutes after hour/half. (So 7pm game actually has puck drop about 715)

I use Tickpick, i feel i get the best deals there and only positive experiences thus far. Love it that no fees are added to the ticket prices you see on the app. Have been using Tickpick for a couple of years and bought +30 times tix to various events.

Selling my own Devils season ticks only through tickpick too, as there is a function that lists the tickets also on other major platforms. Nifty!
