I'd take Murphy + 2nd as well but no point in acquiring Murphy with the current blue-line jam, he'd probably just end up in the AHL.

We traded you a 5th so you wouldn't take Stempniak yesterday. We're not going to turn around and trade him today. We can't afford to lose his scoring when we already need to add more.

Anyway I think Stemp plus a 2nd would be overpaying for a third pairing dman.
