I went with mediocre. My favorite thing about him was that he seemed to identify that we needed a complete rebuild and he saw it through.

His trades have mediocre at best. His best one was the one that got cancelled, which is unfortunate.

I didn't/don't like the Strome or Kilorn signings, especially the Strome one. I loved the Vatrano signing from the get-go. I like the Gudas signing.

His roster construction of last year's team was a complete joke, even for a rebuilding team. It was the most unwatchable, frustrating Duck team to watch in 10+ years.

It's too early to judge his final draft decisions, but I'm not a fan of passing on Fantilli still. I also think he could have traded back a little from pick 33 and still go his guy.

Not to stir this up again, but I think Zegras should have been signed to an 8-year deal prior to last season. If he bridges Zegras, my score will go from mediocre to poor.

I'm a bit worried he's too stubborn and suffers from a little bit of tunnel vision at his job. He seems to fixate a bit on free agents and draft picks, which makes me nervous. That's just spec on my part, and way too early to say that definitively right now.

I didn't vote because I want to see a few things first..

1.) How he handles the Zegras and Terry extensions
2.) If he adds another Top 4D
3.) If we are much better than last season and look more competitive. Not playoffs just to the point where there is some hope till the near end, and they end up around .500, even if they finish 8-12th last, also fine with that. No bottom 5.

I went mediocre because it's too early to say if his rebuild is working or not, he can't really be judged until a few years in the way he is working. But I haven't loved his trades, his free agent signings I think have been fine (Vatrano and Gudas good, Killorn an overpay but I understand it, Strome I didn't really like, Klingberg I love taking that chance even if it didn't work out) and the drafting has seemed good. I didn't like that he at least publicly "misjudged" the team although I really think his plan was just to straight tank and him not trying to make any moves to help out an overwhelmed and frustrated team was bad.

Kings fan coming in peace.
I like what verbeek has done especially in comparison to the whimp lineup rob blake has put together

Hilarious that he's voted as doing a good job
The only way he can get free agents is to massively overpay. The only i can see is to make the team unwatchable and the softest in the league. That's the vision
Unfortunately Samuelis are proven to be cheap owners and are not against this cowardly soft team. Disney years the team was tougher
