No Matthews, Domi, Kampf, Patches, Reaves Suspended

Release the Grebenkin, Minten, Steeves

Benoit back in

Samsonov got lit up by OV last game but Hill gets the call

Their goalies aren’t having great seasons

Hill is 8-3-1 with a 3.16 avg, .855% tells you all you need to know. Keep it low event and we should be good, even with the young guys. They’ll have to be careful of getting schooled though. Could be a wild one.

Good team but winnable game. Missing bunch of players. Chance to shine for some younguns
Vegas Lineup:
Golden Knights projected lineup

Ivan Barbashev -- Jack Eichel -- Pavel Dorofeyev

Tomas Hertl -- Nicolas Roy -- Keegan Kolesar

Brett Howden -- William Karlsson -- Alexander Holtz

Tanner Pearson -- Callahan Burke -- Cole Schwindt

Noah Hanifin -- Alex Pietrangelo

Brayden McNabb -- Kaedan Korczak

Shea Theodore -- Zach Whitecloud

Adin Hill

Ilya Samsonov

Scratched: Mason Morelli

Injured: Mark Stone (lower body), Victor Olofsson (lower body), Nicolas Hague (undisclosed), Ben Hutton (upper body)

Feels like the boys have played a lot of hockey lately. Not that it is good for us fanatics, but a light schedule here is probably a good thing.

I'd roll with Stolarz.

Would not be surprised if Matthews doesn't play until Dec 2 vs Chicago. Clearly he is far from healthy. So it seems to me, if he is not scoring, he is injured.

Yeah, because in December they play almost every other night.

Yeah based on Berube's comments yesterday I thought it was going to be Domi going on IR.

He probably should sit out if he's not 100%. We need him to figure it out.

Great call. He's been called up

Kudos to you. You had mentioned many times that he'll most likely to be called up first

A good test with injuries piling up. He's been very good with the Marlies.

Will be good to see Minten.
Hopefully they don't just throw him on the 4th line.

Very likely will be, directly replacing Kampf. But without Reaves and Kampf, the fourth line could be very functional. If he does well and Leafs get healthy, I could see Domi moved to the wing with Minten centering him.

Steeves and Minten looked very good together with the Marlies. I could see them playing with Lorentz.

How do the Leafs even have the cap space to call up Minten? They were at 731k in LTIR space before the call up and Minten's cap hit is 816k.

Patches LTIR incoming?

Start him there and see if he can play. It would be great if he could eventually be the 3rd line center this season.
