That would be awfully nice of NYI but Vegas can't take that much cap back.

Although that would be the most VGK thing ever so I wouldn't put it past them.

Any goalie Vegas acquires would need to be a rental. Holtby is probably the best target if Dallas falls out of the race. And Lehner is back at practice so his injury doesn't seem long term.

Isles woudn't want any part of Dadonov - he's 32 and making 5M. Isles are looking to shed salary and get younger offensive players and/or picks.

Isles problem is they literally have too many middling forwards in that 4-7M range. If they can't get a 1st rounder for Varly then they should just hold him.
