The CBJ have not made the playoffs in like four seasons and been one of the worst teams in the league over that stretch, have won just one playoff series in their entire existence and the fanbase is excited because they are actually playing relevant games at the end of January. The Knights have been to the playoffs every season except once during their short seven year existence, won a SC, made at least the third round of the playoffs four times and are currently battling for first place in their division .

And their GDT thread opens by calling their team "The Losers". SMH.

Been waiting for hockey to resume. I’m just over a week from hip replacement so no Jackets have left a void. With the late start I’m probably a watch period one, tape the rest kind of guy. We’ll see - likely a game-time decision.

Elvis has played well in Vegas before. Shutout in his first game there and 32/35 in his other game. Hope we get that version tonight!

There is a Tesla Supercharger at 8 Sisters Bakery on Route 95 (I think it's a supercharger). Any excuse to get a baked good at 8 Sisters is fine by me. It does mean I need to extend my cycling rides by an extra thirty minutes If y'all drive past that exit and never stop...stop sometime. You can thank me later.

OK, I have four games on right now (Flyers/Isles, Sens/Caps, Kings/Bolts and Bruins/Jets) but the sound is on the Bruins. Their arena DJ rocks, our's pales in comparison. I do wonder if it is a regional thing seeing how I am a New Englander and the music preferred in Ohio doesn't work for me.

Well in the spirit of healthy activity discussion tonight, I am running the 5th line 5k next weekend but I've eaten like absolute sh* today because its my birthday. Back to cleaner eating and the gym tomorrow.
