Must have been living in the head of @Arturia Pendragon rent free all week, after I laughed at his post in the Wild GD thread against the Jets. I guess you could say the Jets are overrated, Arturia. They're definitely over Minnesota, because when I looked at the standings just now... Winnipeg is still in first. And we'll be seeing you on December 21st. Hope you'll be ready to unwrap your Christmas present early, bud.

I like the idea of rotating in some players to give some players some extra games off and keep them fresh. I think the Jets can rotate Miller in and give DeMelo and Pionk some time off. He's already managing his forward time better, with more 4th line minutes.

Still, I think bringing in Lambert would be good for his development. He needs to see how his game translates to the NHL and identify areas to work on. The Moose are a tire fire so far, and I worry that he and Chibrikov are going to stagnate. The vet forwards they signed have been awful and that D has only one good player.
How? Don’t they need to waive someone to do that? Also doubt they want to waive anyone. I guess Ehlers injury now allows it.

I thought the Jets played a good road game.

Arniel pointed out the goals off the rush and there was definitely some defensive breakdowns and uncharacteristically by some of the better defensive players on the team.

Probably a game Hellebuyck locks down.

Coghlan wasn't too bad for his first game, but sure would like to see Ville out there instead on the PP. Feel like that's his calling.

I thought Pionk had a very strong game as did Josh, and Fleury was improved over past games.

Stanley had some real struggles out there. Hopefully it's rust. But he needs to be better if he wants to keep playing.

I will be back in a month to criticize Perfetti to improve his production. Ehlers injury is hopefully not too serious. Jets need him.

I think it's the end of November, now well past the quarter mark and the Jets are still the top team in the NHL.

But teams are closing in. Minnesota 2 points back, Vegas 3 now. Dallas should be fired up for Sunday afternoon's game after the Jets embarrassed them in Winnipeg. Hope there is still something left in the tank to finish the road trip .500.

I thought we made an improved effort tonight and could have easily won except for a few defensive miscues.

One or two small mistakes (looking at your Baron) made the difference tonight. I was impressed with Comrie and the new guy (Coughlin) but let's face it the Knights are a powerful team. We're having the oft-predicted rough patch with a killer schedule but it's almost over and ---- we're still in first place!

We said - echoes my thoughts

you said the jets will lose 4 in a row then when we won you tried to claim you added unless helle stood on his head
And Helly did stand on his head . He is the only reason they have not lost 3 in a row. I am not sure why you cannot admit they are not as good as their record? I am being realistic but you are being pugilistic towards fans like me.

As a side note TNSE are going ahead with the purchase of Portage Place further cementing their foot print downtown. Hopefully this will be a positive undertaking for the downtown.
Lets hope the benefits an nhl franchise offers to winnipeg real estate values remains higher than $1 billion
