Jets played better as the game went on but a defensive miscue did them in. Tough game to lose and now head to Dallas 18-6 still tops in the league but starting to fade a bit

I called a 4 game losing streak but Helly saved them from that . No way this team beats Dal in Dal. Sad to see the fade happening so early in the season better effort than in LA

We are getting prime post All Star Break Jets experience in November. @johnnyonthspot got heat for suggesting a losing streak might becoming after the Nashville game but looks right in hindsight.

Coghlan had a good game.

Now that have lost Kova and Chisholm both of whom are thriving on contenders, you have to wonder if that story is gonna repeat with Heinola. Scratched after 2 games is barely a chance at all.

I thought we made an improved effort tonight and could have easily won except for a few defensive miscues.

One or two small mistakes (looking at your Baron) made the difference tonight. I was impressed with Comrie and the new guy (Coughlin) but let's face it the Knights are a powerful team. We're having the oft-predicted rough patch with a killer schedule but it's almost over and ---- we're still in first place!

Well at least Koal got off the snide tonight, losing Samberg has put a giant wrench in the D pairs. I agree thought Cogs looked good for his first game of the year. The top line needs to dominate or we are going to have problems

effort was there tonight, this schedule is brutal, if it wasn't for barrons dumb ass play we probably come away with the win

I like the way the Jets played in this game - no quit, and battled til the final bell. No collapse, and they skated with this good team. We did this without Ehlers and Samberg. All around a very good effort by the Jets. I'm happy with the effort. Very close game.

On the plus side, that was a better game than the one against LA. On the downside, there's plenty. The Jets' attack has been neutered somewhat by playing actually good teams. The Jets are a good team, but they don't have the skill to elevate themselves above just being a good team. Looks like we really undersold just how impactful Samberg was going to be for that second pairing. They've looked downright dreadful without him to anchor that pair. Hope Ehlers isn't out too long, and that we get an update on him soon.

The Jets played better in this game but they made some huge, poorly timed mistakes. They need this road stretch to end so they can take a breath because they just seem so depleted. Scheif looked revitalized near the end so... there's that.

Comrie is starting to frustrate me a bit because he'll make enough solid saves to make you start to believe in him but then he'll let you down when you really need him to stand tall. That was Ondrej Pavelec's MO...

Maybe I'm just spoiled by our usually awesome goaltending?

On to Dallas though, I guess.

Thought it was an okay game. I'd like to see us score the first goal a little more, in 24 games I think we've scored the first goal only 10 times (correct me if I'm wrong)
