Just a thought here. Vegans would probably make more friends among non-vegans if they didn't have the "Veganism is what is best for you!" attitude.

I recently started eating meat after growing up vegetarian. It's fairly over hyped I'd say.

I've been cutting back on meat/egg/cheese consumption, eating more grains, nuts/seeds, veggies, etc.
Still like eggs for breakfast, and a cheesy pizza though, so transition to full veganism will be slower.

I do realize that I don't miss meat in many foods I've eaten, like pizza, pastas, etc.

That's an incredibly positive step you've taken. It is not about perfection, but limiting and doing your best! :)
