Sbisa at 2 more years and 3.6 to fill a temporary injury? You'd be much better off signing a free agent on a 1 year for a league minimum. Similarly, there are limitless borderline guys like Biega and Larson that can be had for free.

You paid a conditional 5th for Larsen. Biega was acquired for free. Where are these guys all of a sudden gaining value from?

bruins need to find out what they got in c miller and morrow... both guys are either waiver wire now or will be next year

then they have 2 right shot rookie dmen who looked great in exhibition in carlo and OGara... rookie dmen often struggle as a season progresses but both deserve the chance to start the year

other than missing a couple top 4 dmen, the situation for bottom pair dmen in boston is looking great

mcquaid and k miller should both be considered bottom pair guys on a good team too... as should liles

if vancouver wanted to give us tanev we might have something to talk about but zero interest in adding bottom pair guys

Lol, no. Wouldn't even take them for free, let alone 'trade' for them.

Bruins released Ehrhoff from his PTO and he was better then some of those guys. They let him go and Seidenberg to finally play some young guys. Brandon Carlo 6'5" and Rob O'Gara 6'4" are going be steady top 4 guys in a few years and are on the team now. When those injuried guys come back maybe they get rid of McQuaid. They are pretty much set on dee for the next wave. All they need is a stud dee to replace Chara. McAvoy, Lauzon, Zboril, Lindgren, Grzelcyk, Arnesson, Johansson, O'Gara, Carlo and Krug will be in the core for the next 10 years. Any trades for a dee would be a big one, Fowler, Trouba types.
