No thank you. We are fine with paying you the 2nd for Torts. Karlson is a lot more important to our team than any pick. We might be willing to risk Cam Atkinson in the expansion draft in order to save the kid.

**** that. We're not giving up a valuable roster player - thus making our potential expansion draft loss even bigger - for a 2nd.

I sincerely doubt we keep Karlsson over Atkinson.
Karlson is a RFA and Cam has 1 year left and is going to get a huge raise. I didn't say it was a given but if wild bill keeps up his play why risk losing another C for a guy we might not be able to resign? I do NOT want to lose cam especially the way he has played since torts has come in but long term thinking suggests Karlson would be the keep IF and ONLY IF he keeps up his current pace all year. If we leave Cam free we can literally sign him back after he's gone a year.

Folks have no idea how good Wild Bill is playing this year. Can't believe the Jackets got him for the shell of Wiz.

How about Jenner for Canucks 2nd this year, the CBJ compensation 2nd agreement and a conditional 3rd based on Van finishing outside Top5 of draft.
Jackets keep Atkinson and WildBill

Would you trade Bo Horvat for something like that?

Helpful hint, Canucks fans - if your trade deal involves us getting that compensation 2nd back, it's probably a ripoff deal.
