Nt sure many people have heard of him, but he was the C for Andreas Johnsson and now Carl Grundström.

He seems to have pretty good chemistry with both and is having a statistically good year in the SHL.

He has some abismal numbers in N.A however and im not sure if he would ever come back.

What is the value the Islanders would be looking for in a trade? Is he worth paying anything for, or is he never going to come back to N.A.?

Id like to have him come over and be a #1/2 C in the AHL next year with Grundstrom and Johnsson on his wings and see what he can do.

Thoughts?

EDIT:
Adding stats:
AHL stats (2012-2013 ro 2014-2015)
GP-171, G-26 A-43 P=69 PPG=0.40

SHL
GP-170, G-32 A-43 P=75 PPG=0.44

This year in the SHL
GP- 28, G-8 A-19 P=27 PPG=0.965

Adding a link to an article, talking about how the Leafs were rumored to be interested just before the NHL Draft Lottery last year.

He wouldn't come over to play in the AHL.

Correct. He spent three seasons in Bridgeport, but went back to Sweden after it became apparent there wasn't a spot for him in the NHL.

He'd be cheap to acquire (late pick cheap), but I feel you'd really need to give him an NHL spot in order to lure him back to North America. But hey, maybe if he has buddies on the Marlies that could be a factor that sways him.

Thanks!

If possible, id like to have the team offer him a #1C position in the AHL at 950k (or whatever is the max before it hits the cap) and tell him to prove for a year he is not the kid who struggled in the AHL last time.
From videos of him and scouting reports of his play this year, he seems like someone who could be a decent 3C with some offensive upside.

Mostly I want him to help transition Grundstrom, help Johnnson, and be a high skilled decently sized AHL C guy for next year.

Not for sale .

Snow is smarter than everyone . After next season the isles will need a number 1 center.
He will slot right in . ( islander logic)

Remember Sundstrom looking really good s an 18-19 year old in the WJC. Surprised he never made it in the NHL.
