Speculation: Value for Clowe to Habs

Hi guys,

I come in peace, just a friendly Habs fan inquiring on what it would cost to land Ryane Clowe in a Habs jersey. It's been widely speculated that the habs are interested in adding size to our top 6/9 and I know if Clowe is made available Bergevin will be on the phone in a heart beat.

Clowe's been on record as saying Josh Gorges was his closest friend and a habs fan growing up, just seems like a good fit.

That being said, IMYO what would it take?

I'd want something like a prospect + pick for Clowe. Probably something similar to what SJ traded for Rivet, though Clowe is probably worth more.

This sounds best to me too. Especially since the habs look like they will be having a 20-30 range pick. If not I think most would be cool with a prospect+2nd as well. Something to help stock the cupboards here.
