Wow. Good for him. Did you guys think he would win? How did those top 4 do?
i was hopeful but there were so many media members who clearly have never watched the Raptors that i feared would just default vote for mobley based off of the narrative from earlier this year.

that did happen, but he made it impossible to ignore him with the role he played getting the 5th seed post all-star game.

Damn, well deserved, I know its already obvious Masai knows what he is doing, but like, now noone can ever question this man.

Went against the grain and got the rookie of the year, and he's already brought us a championship, one day there will be a Masai statue.

Also, I loved Barnes as soon as I saw that article who wrote to Toronto fans and introducing himself, that was the most character move I have ever seen in my life, we are witnessing the beginning of a new Raptor for life, one day he'll share the same space as Lowry.

It should have been close but Barnes should have won and I’m happy he did. Many were afraid of the American bias and Mobley would get the nod but the right choice was made.

Among all rookies, Barnes lead the league in; VORP, BPM, Win Share, WinShare per 48 and minutes played.

Head to head with Mobley - Barnes was better than Mobley in; Games played, minutes played, points per game, efficient FG%, 3P%, 2P%, FT%, defensive rebounds per game, assists per game, steals per game and turnovers per game.

Mobley is a big and should be drastically better than Barnes in these categories and they were pretty much the exact same statistically; field goal attempts and adjusted points per game.

Outside of rebounds, Mobley had no distinct advantage over Barnes and rebounds were still close; 8.3 rebounds per game as a 7 footer vs 7.5 rebounds per game as a 6’9” forward.

Barnes apart of a Raps team who were a higher seed than Cleveland and actually made it to the playoffs.

It should have been “close” but when you look at it closely, Barnes was clearly a better player.

Masai was not afraid to trade a core piece in order to put this team over the hump, unlike some other guy ;)

fred "bet on yourself" Vanvleet is gonna costa us another game and the season if he keeps this up. so selfish for a PG

Career playoff best for Siakim plus having the responsibility of being the primary ball handler after Freddie left injured.

76ers thread on the Flyers forum is hilarious to read. Complaining about the reffing and the lack of fouls Embiid is getting now that the refs arent buying his constant flops.

Team and their fans are a bunch of babies
