Pascal, FVV, OG, Trent and Barnes is a very good starting 5. Need a big physical centre and move Trent to the bench. Nurse needs to use his bench more and not rely on starters to play 40 minutes a game all season
Man, the Leafs have really done a number on you.Even the Bulls are about to beat Milwaukee, we're the biggest joke and disappointment of the first round thus far and it's not even close. If the Nets go down 3-0 then maybe they'll surpass us.
just curious. For the more knowledgeable in here. We had a really good season. Played well against Philly. How come we are getting blown out other than last night? Thanks

The Raps finished bottom 5 last year and exceeded expectations all season. Losing Scottie and having Trent sick for two games really hurt our chances. The 76ers are all in competing for a title, we're at different stages in building.
This series has been disappointing for sure, but calling the Raps some kind of joke is a hilariously bad take.
Tough, tough game for FVV and Siakam. Siakam had a great year but he can't be a #1 options in the playoffs. We really need Scottie to develop into that, and he looks like he can. If Scottie becomes a #1 option the sky is the limit for this team with Nurse and Masai guiding us.
He is what he is...a very good secondary scoring option.he didnt make a fieldgoal after halftime in the most important game of the year, he aint the one, its bubble pascal all over again.
flynn has been better defensively than fred though, we actually played our best basketball with flynn in for the most part, the prob with fred if he isnt scoring is he cant defend right now either. flynn did a great job containing maxie, FVV got walked constantly by both maxie AND harden, was tough to watch mansame for putting flynn in there instead of banton all series
That’s a great point, and I’m guilty of this as well. I keep expecting him to be the go-to guy in the playoffs and he never has been nor ever will be. He seems to have the skill to be that guy but not the heart or the smarts. We need to find that guy and a strong centre and Siakam won’t look like such a disappointment. He is what he is...a very good secondary scoring option.
He is not a go to guy, and I don't think he ever will be.
The audacity!![]()
This is a great take. Flynn got jobbed by Nurse this year. He played great when Fred went down and too bad he got hurt late in the season.flynn has been better defensively than fred though, we actually played our best basketball with flynn in for the most part, the prob with fred if he isnt scoring is he cant defend right now either. flynn did a great job containing maxie, FVV got walked constantly by both maxie AND harden, was tough to watch man
apologists will use his bum knee as an excuseflynn has been better defensively than fred though, we actually played our best basketball with flynn in for the most part, the prob with fred if he isnt scoring is he cant defend right now either. flynn did a great job containing maxie, FVV got walked constantly by both maxie AND harden, was tough to watch man
he IS red vanvleet after all lol, we must have the slowest, smallest, most blockable PG duo in the league hahaapologists will use his bum knee as an excuse
would still like to see banton get in there at this point
flynn can't put points up at all.. zero confidence in his jumper and his penetration is non-existent
guess you can say the same thing about fvv in this series, tho
sadge
this was always going to be an issue with how nurse refused to trust any bench players and ran our starting 5 into the ground. This is a great take. Flynn got jobbed by Nurse this year. He played great when Fred went down and too bad he got hurt late in the season.
Embiied with a possible torn thumb ligament? Ouch, brutal. He slammed that ball a little too hard I guess.
I don't like him or the 76ers but you never want to see an MVP candidate hobbled by an injury this time of year.

I do. f*** Embiid. Tired of his antics, his constant whining, and flopping during this series
Karmic justice that he actually gets injured after three games of going down like hes been shot by a sniper from the nosebleeds after anyone breaths on him in the paint
