Let's play guess the lineup!

Roy has been called up. Laine is skating in a regular prating jersey this morning, so he is really close.

Laine won't play against Utah, but who does Roy replace?

I'd put Roy with Anderson & Dvorak, move Gallagher up to Evans line, and put Dach as 4th line center, so Condotta comes out.

Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky
Newhook - Evans - Gallagher
Roy - Dvorak - Anderson
Heineman - Dach - Armia

Well?

I'd give Newhook a chance with Gallagher before benching him. He played his best with Gallagher last season. He needs a net driver.
I think he needs a kick in the ass more than that, but okay. An alternative is having the dynamic duo of Newhook-Dach take on energy line minutes and make them earn their spots back. Right now I feel Dvorak and Anderson are, marginally, working harder than those 2.

My boy Logan Cooley looking like a real solid player this year. Is Bustslafsky playing 4th line?

Regular jersey for Laine. The lines remain to be seen, but he is in red. Like Suzuki and Caufield.

Dach and Slaf are in white, like Roy.

Will Martin St-Louis shuffle his cards?" - Marc-Olivier Cook, DLC

Slaf plays in front of the net, not where you want Laine on the PP.

It's not where we want Slafkovsky either. He's much better along the wall & can make the pass across for the one timer.

Ideally, PP1 should be Slafkovsky on one wall, Laine on other, Hutson - Suzuki on points then someone net front. I'd try Gallagher that's more what he does.

I'm guessing that's not going to happen.

I wonder how the line-up will actually work for the game tomorrow.

CC/Suzuki/Newhook is going to be very soft. But might be fine against Utah, they aren't Vegas.

Heineman/Evans/Roy is throwing two rookies with someone who's not a 2nd line center...on the 2nd line. Also, does it means less defensive duties...which needs to be absorbed by someone else.

Gally/Dvo/Andy is fine as the 3rd line. Thank you Gally, most constant player since the season started.

Slaf/Dach/Armia What is this line role exactly? Defensive? Are Dach and Slaf supposed to lift up a switch playing less than 10 minutes a game?

I'm totally amused that Newhook is falling upward.
And I still have no idea why Roy was recalled...

They're supposed to show they care with limited ice time. That means skate and hit everything like mofos.

Newhook being promoted is very laughable, unless they decided it's time to ship him out.

Newhook is warming the spot for Laine. He doesn't fit on the line-up once Laine is back, unless someone else is traded.

I seriously think that you would've made a better coach than MSL
